Aunt Barbara / Ms. Barbara M. Mobley
Aunt Barbara's Child Development Center
Owner and Director, Barbara M. Mobley
Hello,
My name is Ms. Barbara Mobley, known to everyone as, Aunt Barbara, and I have been teaching for 15 years and
I love teaching young people, I especially love teaching the children in Jacksonville!
I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida where I began working in social work for the Jacksonville Health Department.
I graduated from FSCJ in 1998 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Later I Opened Aunt Barbara’s Child Development Center, Jacksonville’s First 24-hour childcare center on the Northside. I am dedicated to fostering the minds of young people and instilling in them a sense of self-worth and independence
To My Students:
The most important thing I want you to know about me is that I am always there whenever you need me. I never want you to be confused about something we do in class or feel sad because of a problem with a friend. If you need anything, come to me. I want you to have your happiest year yet while your brain gets bigger and bigger.
When I'm not teaching there are lots of things I like to do for fun. I love reading. The only problem is, when I start reading a book, I don't want to stop! I also love traveling. This summer my family went on a Cruise and we also spent a lot of time up north at our Family Reunion. I also spent a lot of time shopping and cooking
I look forward to many more years of teaching the brilliant students at Aunt Barbara’s. I enjoy inspiring children to learn and strive for their goals!
Looking forward to a great year with you!
Hugs and Smiles, Aunt Barbara
